Shakly
One-of-a-kind truly analog photo filter
The wavy effect seen in these images was not created using Photoshop, AI, or any other image manipulation algorithm. Instead, this effect was achieved using the standard vibration of a mobile device that occurred at the moment the picture was taken. To make this effect possible, a unique mobile app called “Shakly” was created. By using only physical vibration to achieve its “shaky” effect, Shakly is a one-of-a-kind truly analog photo filter.

Shakly was made in 2016 but never released as this effect could not be achieved with the new iOS. The photos presented here are almost all pictures that were taken with this app and still exist.
